Once again, I'm dusting the e-cobwebs off this thing so I can announce that the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. And the rumors of my resemblance to the Elephant Man have been pretty exaggerated too, as quite a few people can attest to. I didn't escape the great Collins vs. Toyota altercation without a few scars, but they're really not that bad and the two I have on my face are small. I'd really like to thank all the friends and fans for their support and prayers after the accident, I truly am blessed to have so many wonderful people who care about my wellbeing and I'm sorry for the worry I caused. I'd especially like to thank Aubrey Laine for being there for me immediately after the accident and for helping keep everyone updated on my status. Special thanks also to Chloe Porter, Phoebe Hollingsworth, James Milton, Maria Miers, Anne Williamsen, and Garbo Khiell for their visits during my hospital stay and/or when I was cooped up at home to recuperate. And to my other friends who couldn't be there due to prior commitments, your cards, emails, comments, phone calls, and IM conversations really helped cheer me up as well. And of course, thanks to my family and my fellow band members for putting up with me through the entire ordeal.

I still have a few weeks to go before I'm fully recovered, but I have reported to the set of
He's Just Not That Into You this week. I'm still supposed to keep any weight off my broken ankle as much as possible, so for the first few days I'll be filming scenes where my character isn't moving around a whole lot. Here again is where I owe Aubrey a huge thanks for making sure I wasn't replaced. I've been looking forward to doing this film ever since I was first approached about it, and even more so when I realized how many great people were going to be working on this project as well. I'm very glad that the accident didn't completely ruin that for me.

In other, not so good, news, my doctor says my ribs and ankle need to be fully healed before I can think about touring again. Thankfully, we'd already juggled a few dates around to free me up for filming, but the dates we had for the rest of July will need to be canceled. And as of right now, we're not sure when we're going to be able to think about rescheduling. The ribs will take longer to heal than the ankle (and they hurt a hell of a lot more, too), so in all probability it'll be at least August before we'll be able to get out on the road again. Myself and the rest of the band would like to issue a huge apology to all our fans who were looking forward to the cancelled shows. Those of you who had tickets will be given a full refund, as well as your choice of a voucher for a discount on tickets for our next show in your area or a discount on your next order of merchandise from our website. You'll also be placed on a special mailing list so that you'll be the first to know about new tour dates as soon as we have them scheduled.

Once again, thanks so much to everyone for their support during this time.
